Why you should choose a career in procurement & supply
If you’re opting to do your exams remotely, you’ll be able to sit your exams in the comfort of your own home or office. All you need is a desktop or laptop computer with a stable internet connection.
To sit your exam via remote invigilation, you’ll need to meet the minimum system requirements to run your exam and for your remote invigilator.

Your exam
Your exam will take place on our CBE platform on your desktop /laptop on a system called TestReach.
Desktop/laptop requirements:
We also recommend a comfortable-size computer screen of at least 11 inches to minimise any exam fatigue.
Your remote invigilator
Your remote invigilator will watch you through your mobile device camera using a mobile app called VICTVS.
Mobile device requirements:
Surface Pro/iPads/Tablets/Notebooks/Thinkpads or any 2in1 device, are not compatible with the testing software and cannot be used to take your exam.
Can't meet the requirements?
You can see if we have an exam centre available in your location.
What you must do now
We'll email shortly after you’ve made your booking with full details about how remote invigilation works. Including how to download the applications you’ll need and some further guidance. Please check your email address is up to date in your MyCIPS account.
At least 5 days before your exam you should download the TestReach Candidate Application onto your laptop/desktop computer and the Victvs V3 application onto your mobile device.
When it’s downloaded log into the app, check your setup and view your exam date and time in your local time zone, any discrepancies must be reported to us prior to exam day. Your VICTVS app time will always show a start time 30 minutes earlier, this is to give you set up time with your invigilator on exam day.
IMPORTANT: All systems show in local time not UK time.
Be prepared for your invigilator to watch you throughout your exam
On exam day
Top tip: Having a clear desk space will help you to concentrate on the exam ahead.
Ultimately, it’s your responsibility on exam day to make sure your invigilator can watch you throughout your exam.
