AI-Native Procurement Programme
With Dr Elouise Epstein
Now start your AI procurement journey
The full AI programme gives you a structured way to take AI from theory to practice. Over a series of modules, you will look at how you can apply it to your procurement practice. From developing AI literacy to deploying models at scale, this will build your knowledge from the ground up.
Dr Epstein is a recognised thought leader whose work has given her unique experience of how AI can transform procurement. And this programme can also transform your own skills – and the way your organisation works.
Three steps to develop your AI knowledge
The programme builds depending on the depth of knowledge you want to achieve. Learn with peers from across industries and build practical skills you can apply in your role from day one.

Module breakdown
The programme lasts 21 weeks and is delivered online via Microsoft Teams. View the product sheet for detailed information about the modules. Successful completion of modules 1-3 leads to the AI-Native Procurement: Foundations credential.
Module 1: AI Literacy
Understand the foundations of AI, agentic AI and AI-enabled work
This module explores GenAI, agentic AI, and AI employees, building a shared understanding of key concepts, capabilities and limitations. It examines how traditional procurement workflows can change when AI is introduced and why established ways of working may no longer be effective. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of the impact AI will have on your role, decisions and day-to-day work.
- Foundations and learning (13 January 2027)
- Applied workshop (14 January 2027)
- Coaching call (4 February 2027, one-hour call)
- Coaching call (18 February 2027, one-hour call)
- Showcase and reflections (4 March 2027)
Module 2: AI for personal and team productivity
Apply AI to research, analysis, writing and everyday procurement activities
This module treats prompting as a skill, not a trick, and focuses on its practical application. Moving beyond the way that effective prompts are written, you see how AI can increase efficiency and improve quality across day-to-day procurement activities. We then build practical habits around research, writing, and analysis, and introduce the idea of a personal AI Chief of Staff. You will walk out with productivity gains that you can demonstrate immediately.
- Foundations and learning (31 March 2027)
- Applied workshop (1 April 2027)
- Coaching call (15 April 2027, one-hour call)
- Coaching call (29 April 2027, one-hour call)
- Showcase and reflections (13 May 2027)
Module 3: designing AI agents (beginner)
Learn how AI agents work and begin designing agents to support procurement processes.
We break down what an agent is: inputs, reasoning, outputs, memory, and how that differs from basic automation. Supplier discovery, RFP generation, and spend analysis are used as working examples. By the end, you should be able to structure and brief a simple procurement agent yourself and start designing AI-enabled workflows relevant to your own roles and responsibilities.
- Foundations and learning (9 June 2027)

- Coaching call (24 June 2027, one-hour call)
- Coaching call (8 July 2027, one-hour call)
- Showcase and reflections (22 July 2027)
AI-Native Procurement: Advanced Practice

Module breakdown
The programme lasts 26 weeks and is delivered online via Microsoft Teams. View the product sheet for detailed information about the modules. Successful completion of modules 4-6 leads to the AI-Native Procurement: Advanced Practice credential.
Module 4: designing AI agents
Develop multi-agent workflows, orchestration approaches and integrated AI systems.
The focus now shifts from standalone AI use towards scalable operational deployment. This module looks at multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, and connstraints, using tools like n8n, Zapier, and API connections. This is where we stop
thinking in single tools and start thinking in systems.
- Foundations and learning (22 September 2027)
- Applied workshop (23 September 2027)
- Coaching call (7 October 2027, one-hour call)
- Coaching call (21 October 2027, one-hour call)
- Showcase and reflections (4 November 2027)
Module 5: data readiness and governance
Understand the data, risk, compliance and governance requirements needed for effective AI adoption.
In this module we get into the data problems behind AI adoption: structured versus
unstructured data, supplier and contract, and spend data quality. We also look at what
risk, compliance, and auditability require once AI is making decisions. You will explore how governance must evolve to support AI-enabled organisations and will understand what has to be true about their data before any of this can scale up.
- Foundations and learning (1 December 2027)
- Applied workshop (2 December 2027)
- Coaching call (16 December 2027, one-hour call)
- Coaching call (30 December 2027, one-hour call)
- Showcase and reflections (13 January 2028)
Module 6: AI employees and future operating models
Explore how procurement organisations will evolve and design future-state AI-enabled operating models.
This brings together the work done in previous modules. We draw the line between AI employees, agents, and traditional software, then ask a harder question: which procurement roles disappear, which evolve, and what does the org chart look like once AI is at work? Participants leave having designed a future-state version of their own procurement organisation and having evolved a deeper understanding of how procurement functions may evolve.
