CIPS Launches “The Great Conversation” to Shape the Future of the Global Procurement and Supply Profession

CIPS has announced the launch of The Great Conversation, a global initiative designed to engage procurement and supply professionals in a worldwide dialogue defining the future of the profession.

Operating across more than 180 countries, CIPS is bringing together voices from across the global procurement community, including members and non-members, business leaders, government representatives, educators, and innovators, to explore how the profession must evolve in response to rapid global change.

The Great Conversation will address some of the most pressing questions facing procurement and supply today.

This will include the impact of megatrends such as climate change, artificial intelligence, geopolitical shifts, and changing population dynamics.

It will also explore the future of global supply chains, and the critical skills professionals will need to thrive in an increasingly complex and uncertain world.

Through this initiative, CIPS aims to build a shared, global perspective on the future of procurement ensuring the profession remains at the heart of resilience, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.
