CIPS India partners with UTOPIIC to strengthen sustainable and resilient supply chains
Three-year partnership with UTOPIIC Innovations will bring together procurement, sustainability and supply-chain leaders to strengthen responsible and resilient supply chains across India.
CIPS and UTOPIIC Innovations Pvt. Ltd. have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing CIPS as the Knowledge Partner of The Readiness Forum (TRF).
The new collaboration will create opportunities for CIPS to share its global procurement and supply expertise with businesses and professionals across India, supporting conversations around sustainable procurement, supplier readiness, responsible business and resilient supply chains.
UTOPIIC is a sustainability and ESG-focused organisation that helps businesses build more responsible, resilient and future-ready supply chains. Its work combines technology, data and expert-led engagement to help organisations assess risks and readiness, engage their value chains and turn sustainability and responsible-business expectations into practical action.
The Readiness Forum (TRF) is being developed by UTOPIIC as an ecosystem bringing together enterprise buyers, procurement and sustainability leaders, suppliers, manufacturers, MSMEs, industry associations, experts and solution providers. Through activities including industry roundtables, leadership panels, buyer perspectives, supplier-readiness discussions, training and capacity building, TRF will provide a platform for stakeholders across the value chain to share knowledge and address emerging supply-chain challenges.
As Knowledge Partner, CIPS will contribute its procurement expertise to the Forum through keynote presentations, expert panels, roundtables, knowledge sessions, practitioner conversations and thought-leadership initiatives.
Over the three-year partnership, CIPS expects to collaborate with UTOPIIC on a range of TRF events and knowledge-led initiatives across India. This will provide opportunities for CIPS to engage directly with enterprise buyers, procurement leaders, suppliers and MSMEs in different industry and regional ecosystems.
